The Hunza are a small group of people from Northern Pakistan which live up to 100 years and rarely get sick. They don’t know what cancer is, often give birth at even 65 and bath in cold water frequently. According to Dr. Robert McCarrison, the Hunza haven’t had a single reported case of cancer! So, where does the secret to their incredible health lie?
The Hunza grow their own food and eat a diet rich in raw fruits and vegetables. Their diet mostly consistsof nuts, dried apricots, milk, cereal, millet, barley, buckwheat, eggs and on rare occasions, cheese. They consume apricots every day after drying them in the sun. The Hunza are physically active too – they spent the entire day on foot, and fast for a period of 2-4 months every year.
